NBPD Retirement, Feb. 8

City of North Bend release – Detective Sergeant Buddy Young will officially retire at the end of February after nearly 44 years on the North Bend Police force. On Saturday, the North Bend Police Officers’ Association hosted a retirement party for the decorated veteran law enforcement officer and city’s most tenured employee. Young has seen a lot of change since he joined the North Bend Police Department at the age of 25. His career started on April 1, 1978.
