From 4 – 5 pm on Monday, March 2nd, the North Bend Public Library will take part in Read Across America Day, a nationwide reading celebration March 2, Doctor Seuss’s birthday. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries and community centers celebrate reading with kids of all ages. Participants can take part in crafts and play Doctor Seuss-inspired games such as Hop on Pop, Pin the Hat on the Cat, McElligot’s Pool and Ring the Gack. People are invited to come dressed as their favorite Doctor Seuss characters.
