NeighborWorks Umpqua VITA Sites to Remain Open During Remainder of Tax Season, March 20

ROSEBURG, OR (March 18, 2020) – NeighborWorks Umpqua’s VITA program will remain open for the remainder of the tax season. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites in Coos Bay, Reedsport and Roseburg will continue with the following scheduled hours: Coos Bay: Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; Reedsport: Thursdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; Roseburg: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. However, our process for completing the returns have changed in order to follow the social distancing recommendations for the COVID-19 outbreak at this time. Each of our sites will now be a drop-off site only, meaning that we will not have taxpayers entering the tax sites. Instead taxpayers will drop off a COPY of all their tax documents and complete the IRS mandated intake and authorization forms confirming their information. These forms can be found on our website at www.nwumpqua.org/taxes or outside our sites during hours of operation. For additional information we encourage you to leave a message on our tax line 877.527.5630 or email us at volunteers@nwumpqua.org
