The University of Oregon has reportedly hired Melyssa Lombardi as its next head softball coach. Former coach Mike White left the Ducks for the University of Texas. White has been an assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma for 21-seasons. She has been their pitching coach and named associate head coach in 2007. During her tenure, the Sooners made 12 Women’s College World Series appearances and four national titles.
