Nearly 1,100 participated in the 25th Annual Newport Marathon on the Central Oregon Coast Saturday. Andrew Oslin, a 24-year old graduate student at Western Washington University, won the 26.2-mile marathon (2:25:17.5) for the second straight year. Allison Holden won the women’s portion (3:06:40.2). Kristopher Graden, North Bend, finished 273rd (5:06:17.7). Selena Murphey (55), Reedsport, was 176th (2:31.02) and Bandon’s Cocobianca Taylor (33) 226th (2:43:08.9) in the half-marathon.
