The 47th Annual Newport Seafood & Wine Festival will be held February 22 – 25, 2024. Located in an outdoor tented venue near Rogue Ales & Spirits at the Port of Newport. This festival attracts a large audience of visitors, over 15,000 to Newport from all over the Pacific NW and beyond. The Newport Seafood & Wine Festival encourages fresh seafood, small and large production wineries and artists featuring their uniquely crafted creations to be part of the fun. This year will feature a Seafood Chowder Cook-off with $5,000 in prize money to be awarded to the best of the best. A panel of judges will blind taste each entry on Thursday night, and the winners will display their award at their booths Friday – Sunday. Ticket holders will be able to taste each of the seafood chowders by purchasing a “tasting kit” at the festival and the “People’s Choice” will be awarded on Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of the festival. In our Beer Tent, Rogue Ales Brewery created a private label for the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival. With the purchase of this beer, $3 of the cost per beer will go to a local non-profit. This year your beer purchase will benefit the Newport Fishermen’s Wives. To add to the excitement, this year we will have Oregon music legends Curtis Salgado, Ty Curtis and Sonny Hess on our main stage. Local musicians Hecktic Week, Sons of Beaches and Randy McCoy will be featured in the beer tent.
