Members of the ODOT bridge crew will be working on the U.S. 101: Siuslaw River Bridge on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 & 8, creating 10-20 minute delays for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians traveling on U.S. 101. Beginning at 10 p.m. and continuing until 2 a.m. on the two nights, the crew will be conducting a series of openings on the historic draw bridge. While the bridge is open, traffic will be stopped on either side of the bridge for no longer than 20 minutes. During the work, the highway and bridge will continue to have two lanes available for travel in both directions. There is a possibility that work will be delayed or completed early. Travelers will be alerted to the potential delays by signs in the area. Travelers can also monitor TripCheck.com for up to date information.
