No Mask Group Disrupts Commissioner’s meeting, Aug. 18

The planned Coos Co. Commissioner meeting for Tuesday at the Courthouse in Coquille was disrupted by a group holding signs and not wearing masks. When asked to wear a mask, the group, along with Commissioner Bob Main, did not. Commissioner John Sweet made a motion to move the meeting to Wednesday and go virtual to avoid another mask mandate protest. Commissioner Melissa Cribbins seconded the motion. The meeting Wednesday will start at 10 a.m. and is available through the County’s website.
