City of Coos Bay release – The City of Coos Bay has contracted with Upper Rogue Excavation to repair a sanitary sewer line along N. 2nd Street (between Park Ave. & Highland Ave.). Paving activities are needed to complete the work and in order to do the paving the road will be closed. It is anticipated that the road closure will remain in effect for two days, Tuesday, January 19th and Wednesday, January 20th. There will be no on street parking in this portion of Commercial Avenue. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone. The contractor will work with the affected business owners as needed.
