Segment of Commercial Ave.; National Fitness Campaign – Fitness Court and Studio; The City of North Bend is eligible for a $30,000 National Fitness Campaign Grant for purchasing a Fitness Court and Studio. NFC’s best-in-class outdoor Fitness Court features a series of seven-minute workouts with the benefits of digital coaching on the free Fitness Court App. The Fitness Court App acts as a “coach in your pocket,” delivering regular content that keeps fitness training fun for adults of all ages and fitness levels. The 38-by-76-foot Fitness Court and Studio would occupy the existing outdoor concrete pad adjacent to the North Bend Municipal Pool. That pad was installed with the express purpose of expanding recreation facilities at the pool. This new workout facility is just one of the ways the city can improve and enhance the quality of life for North Bend residents and would be paid for with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The cost of the equipment will go up by $12,650 on January 1, 2023.
