OSAA Playoffs
All four Bay Area high school basketball teams are in the state playoffs. The OSAA announced matchups on Wednesday morning, Feb. 25 after the Power Rankings froze Tuesday night. North Bend and Marshfield’s boys have both earned byes from the “Play-In” round and will wait to learn their home game playoff opponent following this weekend’s games. The two Bay Area schools have already decided they will play their playoff games on Friday, March 6. North Bend will play at 6:30 p.m. and Marshfield at 8:30 p.m. South Umpqua, the No. 3 team from the FWL, and will host Sisters in a “Play-In” game, Friday, 6 p.m., in Tri City. Marshfield and North Bend’s girls will participate in the “Play-In” round this weekend. Marshfield will travel to Douglas Friday, 7 p.m., and North Bend goes to Banks either Friday or Saturday, . FWL champion Brookings-Harbor has the bye.
