Visiting North Bend swept two 4A Far West League games at South Umpqua (0-3, 2-6) in Tri-City on Monday. The Bulldogs (2-0, 2-7) won 11-5 and 10-5 to pick up their first two wins of the 2014 season.

The Marshfield softball team will finally hold its 2014 season home opener today, Tuesday, with a 4A Far West League game against Siuslaw at 6 p.m. The Pirate baseball team travels to Florence to play the Vikings, 5 p.m.

North Bend will take on Sutherlin in 4A Far West League baseball and softball today, Tuesday. The Bulldog baseball team will host the “Blue Dogs” at 5 p.m., at Clyde Allen Field, while the Lady Bulldogs travel to Sutherlin for a 5 p.m. game.
