Aaron Wagner and Dakota Moore of North Bend both placed second in the finals of the Del Norte Invitational in Crescent City, CA, Saturday. Jake Buck was third at 182 while Michael Button finished sixth in his weight class. Other Bulldog winners were: Kyle Zomerschoe, Coltyn Ringen, Shane Keeling and Talon Merritt. North Bend has also chosen its Team Captains for the 2014/15 season. Senior Aaron Wagner and freshman Coltyn Ringen will be leading the Bulldogs into battle this weekend at the 29th annual Coast Classic wrestling tournament in North Bend.

Marshfield’s basketball teams travel to Cottage Grove for a couple of non-conference games Tuesday night. The girls will play at 5:30 p.m., and the boys will follow. Both games will be broadcast live on FM 91.3 and streamed worldwide on the KMHS website.

North Bend’s basketball teams will open the 2014-15 season on the road. The Bulldogs travel to Junction City Tuesday night for a pair of non-conference games.
