Marshfield clinched at least a tie for the 4A Far West League volleyball title Thursday night with a 3-1 (25-13, 25-9, 23-25, 25-15) win over visiting North Bend (3-5, 4-12). Second place Siuslaw (6-2, 8-10) is two matches back with two to go in the regular season following a 3-0 win over visiting Brookings-Harbor, and Douglas (5-3, 8-8) remains in third place with a 3-2 win at South Umpqua (2-6, 6-10). Marshfield (8-0, 16-2) can win the title outright Monday night at Brookings-Harbor (0-8, 0-15). Junior Hailee Woolsey led the Pirates with 12 kills, while senior Abby Clough recorded 11.
