At 10:47 a.m., 400 block Simpson Ave., “RP reported her vehicle was entered sometime last ngith and some items were taken.” Value $120.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, April 22, 11:52 a.m., 1800 block Union Ave., “RP reported an attempted burglary at the Alano Club sometime overnight, unknown suspect tried to pry open the door.” Damage estimated at $350.
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, April 22, 2:16 p.m., Sherman Ave. & Ferry Road, “Station 5 relayed possible location of wanted subject after passing deputy observed the person on his way to another call. Subject on foot south end of the McCullough Bridge. Officer located the subject on Sherman Ave. & Ferry Road.” Forty-eight year old Steven Ellis Bowen, Reedsport served OSP warrant charging Probation Violation on original charge of Traffic Offense. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, April 22, 2:34 p.m., 2000 Meade Ave., “RP request welfare check from CA for his daughter who lives in North Bend, advised she is locked out of her house. Officer respond / advised checked the area, unable to locate the female anywhere. Officers checked back several times, located the female and male subject there in the evening.” Thirty-eight year old Lamont Edward DeRoss, North Bend, arrested on charge of Probation Violation and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. A second entry at 6:49 p.m., 2000 Meade Ave., “RP reported male subject walked in her front door and was talking strangely.” DeRoss arrested on charge of Burglary I and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, April 23, 7:03 p.m., 2500 block Madrona Ave., “RP reported she came home and her house was broken into, unknown if anyone still in residence.” Report taken for Burglary I, Criminal Mischief II and Theft I.
