According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, April 25, 12:18 p.m., “subject came to North Bend PD to turn himself in as he has warrants.” Forty-seven year old Gordon Anthony Wymore, North Bend, taken into custody on NBPD warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and a CCSO warrant charging Contempt of Court. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, April 25, 3:37 p.m., 2700 block Stanton Ave., “RP reported his neighbor parked her trailer against his fence.” Fifty-nine year old Thea Hangaard, North Bend, “referred to the DA’s Office for Criminal Mischief II as she admitted to backing trailer into fence and refused to supply insurance information.”

Officers responded/report taken for Harassment.” Fifty-one year old Thomas McCarty, North Bend, referred to the DA Office for Harassment as he refused to come to the door. RP left the residence.”

Underage smoking
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, April 25, 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, 66-year old “male gave cigarette to child at location. Subjects here from China. It was explained that children could not smoke in the United States.” Child a nine-year old boy.
Friday accidents
North Bend Police were busy with several vehicle accidents around town Friday, April 25. According to entries on the police log, a 23-year old North Bend female was transported by ambulance to Bay Area Hospital following a two vehicle accident on the 1300 block of Virginia Ave. at 7:48 a.m. At 8:26 a.m., 1600 block of Virginia Ave., a 46-year old driver hit a fixed object at Sterling Savings Bank. “No damage to the pole.” And, a non-injury accident occurred at 12:44 p.m., at Sherman and Connecticut between an RV and a semi. “Report taken.”
