According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 1:24 a.m., “CBPD served NBPD valid warrant,” on 51-year old Eric Shawn Underland, Coos Bay, charging Forgery II, Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument 2nd Degree & Tampering with Physical Evidence.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 4:25 p.m., “CBPD served NBPD valid warrant” on 20-year old Donald Evan Bignell, Coos Bay, charging Unlawful Possession of Meth.

Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 4:26 p.m., “PV Security reported shoplifter from Big 5, male suspects last seen on foot by Tais Dynasty. Officers respond and located the subject near Tais,” 27-year old Casey Allen Nelson, Bandon, charged with Probation Violation and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Officer advised 2nd male suspect had damaged packaging but had not stolen the item, warned for Criminal Trespass and released. Both suspects issued 1 year trespass from Pony Village Mall.”

Water rescue
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 6:27 p.m., 1200 block Airport Lane, “CBPD request cover unit with an assault suspect in the water behind the Sewage Treatment Plant. Assistance rendered.” Second entry, same location, “water rescue.”

Warrants
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 9:50 p.m., “CBPD served NBPD valid 2 warrants,” on 24-year old Benjamin Duncan Simpson, Coos Bay, charging Failure to Appear on original charge of Disorderly Conduct II, & Interfering with Police. And, Failure to Appear in Second Degree.

Menacing
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 17, 11:56 p.m., Virginia Ave./PVM, “reported that 3 males and a female were chasing a male subject and the one being chased went into Taco Bell. The subjects chasing him are walking by Video and More. Officer contacted the males and females. One of the males advised other subject pulled knife on him, doesn’t want to press charges though. Officer located the other subject involved, he stated the other subject started.” Three males, ages 21, 29 & 40, and two females, ages 20 & 31, listed as “Involved/Contacted.”

Male and Female yelling at each other. Officer responded/male subject denied female was at location. Subject was trespassed from property and left area on foot.” 12:18 p.m., Everett Ave., “RP reported her daughter’s ex-boyfriend assaulted her. Male subject claiming she assaulted him. Subjects writing statements to be referred to DA’s Office.” 1:27 p.m., Meade & Montana, “RP reported male and female having a dispute in vehicle parked at location. Officers responded/advised subjects denied anything physical. Verbal only. Officer seized female ODL due to suspension.” 2:32 p.m., 1700 block Grant St., “RP reported a dispute at residence in front yard. Verbal possibly going to get physical. Officers responded/verbal only. Parties separated.” 11:18 p.m., Newmark & Liberty, “officer out with 2 subject at location. Officer advised subjects were having a minor argument, advised not to argue in public.”
