According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 29, 12:45 a.m., 2600 block Broadway Ave., “911, male subject out of control, intoxicated/throwing things,” 56-year old Robert Balch, North Bend, “taken into custody and transported to CCJ. Officer cited and released subject at CCJ.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 29, 4:45 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “officer observed female wanted subject in Mill Casino,” 30-year old Trina Loreen Butler, Reedsport, taken into custody on Douglas Co. SO warrant charging Parole Violation. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
