Grocery Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 5, 8:25 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “officer advised Safeway reported theft of full grocery cart of items approximately an hour ago. They provided video of that.”
Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1900 block Lewis St., “BCA advised they flagged down by subject at location who advised he was robbed. Officer contacted subject, advised that his house was broken into. Report taken for Burglary I and Theft I and Criminal Mischief III.”
Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Aug. 6, 5:28 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Security advised they out with female in west lot that stole a cell phone from another subject. Value $150.” Twenty-year old Shyann McMillen Markusson, Coos Bay, taken into custody and charged with Probation Violation, Theft II and PCS Schedule I. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
