Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police for Monday, Dec. 9, 1:14 p.m., 2200 block Maine Court, “RP reported his wife’s ring missing from her jewelry box, unknown when this occurred. Officer contacted the RP / report taken Theft I. Officers later recovered the ring and a firearm associated with the initial report. Officers advised 17 year old male juvenile detained and transferred to Juvenile Dept. custody, reference Theft I and two-counts of Theft I of a Firearm. Another entry at 2:27 p.m., “RP reported he bought a Browning .25 auto and was told it was stolen. Serial # was ran / does not return stolen through LEDS.”
Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Dec. 9, 11:25 a.m., 2200 block Pine St., “RP request officers respond after being assaulted by an unknown male suspect at location, unknown if subject is still on scene. Officers respond / cleared the building, unable to locate the suspect there or in the surrounding neighborhood. Report taken Burglary I, Assault IV & Sodomy, investigation continuing.”
Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Dec. 8, 7:18 p.m., 3800 block Edgewood Dr., “RP reported his mother’s fiancé is being violent towards her.” Forty-nine year old Michael Benson, North Bend, taken into custody on charges of Assault IV Domestic Felony, Strangulation, and Interfere with 911 Call. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Kidnap
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Dec. 8, 1:54 p.m., 800 block Newmark St., “RP request an officer respond to an unknown address to help her leave the house after male subject is not letting her, somewhere on the same street at Walmart, call disconnected. RP able to give further info on her whereabouts upon callback / officer respond to location.” Forty-three year old Cristobal Clemente Juana, North Bend, charged with Unlawful PCS & DCS Marijuana, Domestic Menacing, Kidnap & Coercion. Also served Klamath Falls warrant charging Failure to Appear on original charge of Theft of Services. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Criminal Trespass
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Dec. 8, 9:33 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Security request an officer respond for a female who’s been previously trespassed from location. Officer respond, contacted both involved parties, officer advised female now has been permanently restricted from the Casino.” Twenty-four year old Vanessa Xochil Cardoso, North Bend, cited in lieu of custody for Criminal Trespass II.
