Theft at Safeway
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Dec. 17, 4:02 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “Safeway reported employee detained in store for theft.” Thirty-seven year old Billy Frances Zeigler, Coquille, taken into custody on charges of Theft I, value $1,400, and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Dec. 17, 3:56 p.m., 3400 block Broadway Ave., “RP reported 2 males just stole a Skil Saw from store and took off walking down the street.” Thirty-eight year old Scott Denardo, Coos Bay, taken into custody on charges of Theft III and PCS Schedule II. Value $45, saw was recovered. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
