According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 9:44 a.m., 1400 block Sherman Ave., “P&P requested we attempt to locate client who is detainable and possibly staying at the Parkside Motel.” Thirty-five year old Melinda Hagen, North Bend, taken into custody on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 11:07 a.m., 2200 block Broadway, “officers located wanted subject at location.” Fifty-year old George James Yost, North Bend, arrested on warrant charging DWS Misdemeanor and transported to Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Gun found
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2:56 p.m., 3600 block Broadway Ave., “reports finding a handgun in the bushes. Officer responded and located the firearm, entered recovered LEDS & NCIC.”
Snoring
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 8:55 p.m., 700 block Connecticut Ave., “2 RP’s reported a male subject not moving on the ground near location. Officers and EMS respond / advised subject is extremely intoxicated and snoring, P&P approved detainer.” Thirty-three year old Tallon James McDonald, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
