According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for early Friday morning, Jan. 24, 1:16 a.m., 2500 block 16th St., “burglary in progress (interrupted). Report taken for Burglary II and Theft II. An attempt to locate was sent countywide.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 23, 11:27 pm., Oak & Lewis streets, “officer out with subject at location.” Forty-five year old Harry E. Miller, Coos Bay, arrested on Probation Violation charge and cited for No Valid Operator’s License. Earlier, at 10:52 p.m., Meade & Virginia, “3rd hand relay of accident.” Harry E. Miller warned for leaving the scene of an accident, transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 23, 5:22 p.m., Union & Virginia, “RP reports that she came to North Bend to purchase a vehicle, while exchanging money, the male subject left in a red pickup and stole her money. Officer spoke with subjects, report taken for Theft.”
Criminal Trespass
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 23, 12:01 p.m., 1611 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “Security reports criminal trespass in progress, subject last seen wearing black sweatshirt, red hoodie underneath, blue jeans, last seen headed eastbound on Virginia.” Nineteen year old Brian Q. Stuart, North Bend, charged with Criminal Trespass II, but cited in lieu of custody.
DUII
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Jan. 25, 2:26 a.m., Wall & Myrtle, “traffic stop,” 35-year old Beverly June Pettengill cited in lieu of custody for DUII (BAC .14%).
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 24, 11:31 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., Mill Casino, “possible location of wanted subject.” Thirty-four year old Donald Lee Crum III, Coos Bay, arrested on OSP warrant charging Possession of Meth. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Jan. 24, 9:08 p.m., 2050 Lincoln St., Family Worship Center, “RP reports someone has kicked in doors at the location. Officer responded, report taken for Burglary II & Criminal Mischief.
Dog bite
A 91-year old North Bend man was cited Saturday, Jan. 25, 3:21 p.m. for Public Nuisance (Dog Biting a Person). According to an entry on the police log, “RP reported yesterday she was attacked by someone golden retriever while walking her Yorki at location, RP states she was just released from the hospital. Officer respond and contacted both RP and dog owner.” Robert Anthony Boyle was cited at the Inland Point Assisted Living facility on Inland Drive. Also on Saturday, 5:02 p.m., Airport Heights, a 53-year old North Bend woman was warned for Dog at Large after police searched for the owner and had the dog sent to the animal shelter.
