Reckless Endangering
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Jan. 1, 3:55 p.m., Chevron Station on Virginia Ave., “RP reports 3 males in a 1989 GMC pickup truck (tan in color) threw something out the window and it hit a pedestrian on Virginia Ave. in front of the Chevron Station. Looks like whatever they threw hit the pedestrian pretty hard. Pedestrian is a thin white male adult, in his late 20’s. Unknown if he is injured because RP followed the suspect vehicle. Suspect vehicle last seen headed eastbound on Newmark from Brussells St. Officer attempt to locate victim and info relayed to CBPD to attempt to locate suspect vehicle stop and F.I., if located. RP said she could identify the driver of the vehicle.”

Warrants
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1:49 p.m., Hwy. 101, “attempt to locate wanted subject northbound over the McCullough Bridge. Officers located subjects at the Bay Bridge Motel.” Twenty-year old Anthony C. Wilkins, Reedsport arrested on two RPPD warrants charging Failure to Appear on two-counts of Violation of Restraining Order and Assault IV & Harassment. Also, 24-year old Wesley T. Chandler, Lakeside, on RPPD warrant charging Failure to Appear on Animal Abandonment and Theft of Services charges. “Subjects transferred to DCSO for transport to Reedsport.”
