According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 3:16 p.m., 3300 block Broadway Ave., “McDonalds reported subjects fled after attempting to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.” Suspects gone prior to police arrival. Report taken.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 3:55 p.m., “subject came to NBPD request clearance for the Mission,” 27-year old Aunna Marie Bennett, Coos Bay, arrested on CCSO warrant charging UUV, Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver, Criminal Mischief II, Failure Carry & Present and PCS Meth. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 4:19 p.m., 2000 block Meade St., “RP reported burglary occurred at his home some time while out of the area. Officer respond / report taken.”

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 8:06 p.m., CBPD served NBPD warrant on 41-year old Michael Cowan, Coos Bay, charging Failure to Appear in 1st Degree.

Bike Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 9:13 p.m., 1200 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported bike stolen from back of his Jeep at location. Report taken for Theft III.”

Cougar?
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, July 10, 9:48 p.m., 66000 block Robin Road, “officers out at location assisting homeowner. Officer advised homeowner advised cougar was chasing his dog and had it pinned down somewhere. Officer advised wasn’t a cougar was 2 raccoons.”
