According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 10:37 a.m., 800 block Vermont St., “RP reported female stole all of her pain medicine from her apartment.” Fifty-two year old Linda Marie Plunkett, North Bend, cited in lieu of custody on Douglas Co. warrant charging Failure to Appear on DUII. Also cited into Douglas Co. Circuit Court. Report taken on theft. “Both parties will provide written statements.”
Resist Arrest
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 12:17 p.m., 3600 block Broadway Ave., “RP reported a male subject who just stole a shirt from the store and ran down Thompson Ave. towards BAH. Officers respond / located the subject on BAH property / subject elude on foot.” Forty-four year old James Duane Radford, North Bend, charged with Theft III, Resisting Arrest, and two-counts Attempt Assault on Police. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Sparklers seized
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 1 p.m., 1100 Airport Way, “TSA reported customer attempted to take fireworks on a plane in baggage. Request officer respond. Officer seized 11 packs of sparklers.”

Criminal Mischief

They would like to press charges.” Thirty-nine year old Bryan Fergelic, North Bend, cited and released for Criminal Mischief in lieu of arrest.
Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 2:37 p.m., 1900 block McPherson Ave., “officer assist P&P with transport to CCJ.” Twenty-nine year old Kiel Maston Prewitt Smith, Coos Bay, and 54-year old Ronald Howard Foster, Coos Bay, both charged with Probation Violation.
Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 3:18 p.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “PV Mall Security reported Macy’s has a male in custody for shoplifting.” Twenty-eight year old Mary Goble, Coquille, cited and released for Theft II, and permanently trespassed from all PV Mall properties.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 30, 3:41 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “Safeway reported male shoplifter in custody.” Forty-one year old Christy Ann Jones, Coos Bay, cited and released for Theft II and permanently trespassed from all PV Mall properties and all Safeways.
