North Bend Police report, July 24

Fight
Officers from CBPD, NBPD and CQTP responded Tuesday, July 22, 9:07 a.m. to a report of a fight on the 200 block of North Wall St. in the Empire District of Coos Bay.  According to an entry on the NBPD log, “officer advised subjects were involved in verbal argument, male took off on the bike and was involved in the accident, female no longer on scene.”  Forty-one year old John Thomas Bracken, Coos Bay, cited for DWS Violation, Driving Uninsured, warned for Failure to Obtain Motorcycle Endorsement, No Crash Report Required.

Suspicious subject
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 22, 400 block Simpson Ave., “anonymous RP reported a suspicious male subject walking door to door in the area asking for a light for his cigarette.  Officer responded and contacted subject working at a nearby residence / he confirmed he was asking for the lighter.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 22, 11 a.m., 1400 block Airport Way, “RP reported a suspicious female using their bathroom that was asking strange questions where there, last seen headed westbound on Colorado on foot.”

Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 22, 1:50 p.m., 3700 block Chester St., “RP reported her silver was taken from her home some time recently.  Officer contacted the RP / report taken Theft I.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 22, 3:15 p.m., 2100 block Lewis St., “RP reported his brother’s ex-girlfriend from out of town came to his house and took several plants, and attempted taking other items, after finding out he died this morning.  Officer contacted the RP / request NBPD attempt to locate to get the plants back.”
