According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, April 30, 1:17 p.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported seeing a female in her car trying very hard to run over a male subject on a bicycle, last seen headed westbound from the south end of the PV Mall. Officers respond to the area and attempt to locate either the suspect vehicle or victim, unable to locate. Officer observed a male subject matching victim description; however, subject was unable to locate once he pulled into an apartment complex in Coos Bay.”
Refused to go
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, May 1, 2:20 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Casino Security advised they have an intoxicated subject refusing to go to his room or leave the property.” Forty-year old Brian K. Stancliff, Shewood, charged with Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
