Scam
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Nov. 10, 10:28 a.m., 2600 block 14th St., “citizen reported scam where subjects were trying to pose as their grandson asking for $1,600 for bail in Mexico. RP confirmed her grandson was OK, reported the people calling were being very lewd. Logged for info / RP has already contacted the US Embassy and is emailing them, was also given info on how to report to the FTC.”
Disorderly Conduct
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Nov. 10, 7:45 p.m., 2100 block Harrison Ave., “CCSO reported 911 call from irate female at location, no other info available.” Thirty-one year old Shaunna Hicks, North Bend, charged with Disorderly Conduct, and 37-year old Donald Simmons, North Bend, charged with Probation Violation. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
