According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Nov. 22, 3:26 p.m., 2500 block Sheridan Ave., “RP reported suspicious female looking through neighbors items sitting on the side of their house. Officer respond and located the female still there.” Thirty-one year old Vanessa R. Johnson, North Bend, charged with PCS Meth and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
DUII
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Nov. 22, 9:08 p.m., 1200 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported female in a silver Dodge Durango backed into his vehicle, no damage done, so don’t need a report but subject is very intoxicated.” Fifty-five year old Susan Bickford cited and released for DUII and cited for Refusing to Take Breath Test. “Vehicle secured on scene.”
Burglar?
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Nov. 23, 1:02 a.m., 2323 Pacific Ave., NBHS, “RP reported subject possibly trying to break into the auto shop area, down below high school. Wearing all black, disappears when vehicles come by. Black hat, zip up and pants. RP advised officers subject took off running when they arrived. Van parked in front of maintenance building unoccupied. Report taken for Burglary II and Criminal Mischief II. Officer later stopped the van,” 29-year old Casey Mathers cited for DWS Violation, warned for Careless Driving. “Mathers also referred to DA’s Office for Burglary II and Criminal Mischief II.
