According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 7:59 a.m., 2100 block Newmark St., “RP reported watching a male teenager steal the Salvation Army bucket in front of Bimart this AM at 6:03. They have it on video at store. Value 0.90 cents. Officer located Salvation Army bucket behind Big Lots and returned it to property location. Victim and suspect entered into a civil compromise.”
Shoplifter on video
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 12:55 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “Safeway reported male subject shoplifted earlier this morning. They have him on video. Taken” Red Bull, value: $5.00.” Twenty-five year old Salvatore Carothers, North Bend, cited and released for Theft III. Trespassed for one year from Safeway.
Warrants
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 7:43 p.m., “Lane Co. SO served 2 NBPD valid warrants.” Thirty-one year old Megan Lynn Weaver, North Bend, charged with Failure to Appear I, and Failure to Appear, original charge Possession Methadone.
