Various entries on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Oct. 27, involving individuals coming into contact with the police. 5:20 a.m., 3500 block Broadway Ave., “RP reported 2 transients in sleeping bags at location under the awning. Both subjects warned for Criminal Trespass.” 10:58 a.m., Pony Creek Rd., “RP reported suspicious male subject walking down Pony Creek towards NBHS with black hoodie over head, bandana covering his face, carrying an Army type back pack. Officers responded/subject advised he just left a friends residence and was heading to another friends house.” 2:27 p.m., 1300 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported suspicious male subject seemed either disoriented or ‘on something’ was talking to himself and others, not making sense, walked toward Tais Dynasty. Officers responded/located subject who advised he is just walking around.” 5:32 p.m., Oak St. Park, “NB Council member reported female sets up camp during the day in the pavilion at Oaks Street Park, with tarps and camp stove. People are afraid to go near it. Also advised she sleeps somewhere on Ash St. at night. Request extra patrols.”
