According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Oct. 2, 1:11 a.m., 645 Virginia Ave., Copacabana, “RP reported multiple fights at location, more people than they can handle.  Only 2 security working then caller hung up.  Officer advised subjects causing the trouble left in cab after officer arrived. Everything else inside has calmed down.”

Dispute
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Oct. 2, 1:20 a.m., Virgina & McPherson avenues, “dispute at location.  RP advised male subject assaulted female at location. Officers contacted subjects, no one wanted to be a victim.”

Menacing
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Oct. 2, 12:52 p.m., 1200 block S. 11th St., “CBPD request we handle a dispute in their city,” 63-year old John Burns, Coos Bay, referred to the DA’s Office for Disorderly Conduct II & Menacing. “Subjects were advised to stay away from each other.”

Suspicious
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Oct. 2, 1:23 p.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, “CBPD requested we handle call in their city, suspicious male put a female juvenile in motor home at Walmart and drove off.”  Traffic stop at Hwy. 101 & Hemlock, “officer advised foster daughter was having a tantrum. Situation is handled.”

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Oct. 2, 11:55 p.m., Simpson Park, “officer out with subjects at location,” 34-year old Andrew Harner, Madras, taken into custody on Jefferson Co. warrant charging Weapons Offense, and local charge of False Info to Police Officer.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
