North Coos Waterfront
The Roseburg Umpqua Lions swept an American Legion baseball doubleheader from North Coos on Monday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend. The Lions won the first game 5-3 and took the second 2-1. According to Waterfront manager Bud Grant, the Grants Pass Miners folded and forfeited their games, and a home doubleheader with Eagle Point Sunday was rained out. North Coos (5-5, 13-9) Plays at Legion Field in Roseburg Thursday against Pepsi.
