North Coos Waterfront, the Bay Area’s American Legion baseball team will open the 2016 Summer Season this Sunday, June 12, 1 p.m. with a doubleheader at Eagle Pt. The first home game is scheduled for July 25 at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend against the Grants Pass Miners. The Waterfront has six games scheduled in June, and 13 in July. The American Legion’s Bud Grant is the team Manager, while Brad Horning and Quinton Hall are the coaches.
