A 4.3-magnitude earthquake shook the northern junction of two fault lines that run parallel to the Oregon Coast Friday, Sept. 16. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 7:46 pm (UTC) and was located 189km west to southwest of Bella Bella, Canada. A second quake, 4.4-magnitude, occurred on Saturday, Sept. 17, but it was located 210km south to southwest of Port Hardy, Canada.
