Northern California Quake, Dec. 3

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Cape Mendocino in Northern California early Tuesday morning, Dec. 3, where two fault lines leave the California shore line and enter the Pacific Ocean before turning north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 12:25 a.m., 42-miles southwest of Eureka, CA.
