A 2.8-magnitude earthquake occurred within one of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, May 5. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded at 11:37 p.m., 55-miles west to northwest of Eureka, CA near Cape Mendocino.
