What?: The North Bay Urban Renewal Area Agency is updating its urban renewal plan. The update will be the first major update since 2006. The urban renewal plan lists infrastructure and development projects, as well as their estimated cost and schedule. The plan is set to expire in 2018 and needs to be extended so that the Agency can collect tax revenues and fund projects beyond 2018. Who?: The public is welcome to join the North Bay Urban Renewal Area Open House and find out what projects have been added and prioritized in the urban renewal plan. These projects are intended to help the North Spit develop more fully, and eventually produce more jobs and economic activity for the community. Your input will be considered in updating the plan.
