What?: The North Bay Urban Renewal Area Agency is updating its urban renewal plan. The update will be the first update since 2006. The urban renewal plan lists infrastructure and development projects, as well as their estimated cost and schedule. The plan is set to expire in 2018 and is proposed to be extended to 2038 so the Agency can collect revenues within the district and fund projects beyond 2018. Who?: The public is welcome to join the North Bay Urban Renewal Area Open House and find out what projects have been added and prioritized in the urban renewal plan. These projects are intended to help the North Spit develop more fully, and eventually produce more jobs and economic activity for the community. Your input will be considered in updating the plan. When?: The open house is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25th , 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Where?: Coos Bay Public Library Myrtlewood Room, 525 Anderson Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
