The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board is replacing a water main on Ocean Boulevard from the Water Board’s driveway entrance to Woodland Drive. The Water Board’s contractor, Laskey-Clifton Corporation, is performing the work. Additional night time work is occurring this week. Beginning Monday night, Nov. 3rd, 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., the work started with the closure of Woodland Drive at Ocean Boulevard. Traffic was detoured to/from N. 19th Street and Juniper Ave/Myrtle Ave during the work period. A second closure is planned for tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 4th beginning at 7:00 p.m. and lasting until 7:00 a.m., Wednesday morning. Continuous traffic flow will be maintained on Ocean Boulevard during these work periods. Motorists should use caution and reduce speeds through the construction area.
