ODFW Fish Passage Task Force meets virtually, Feb. 25

SALEM, Ore – Oregon’s Fish Passage Task Force meets virtually Friday Feb. 25, 2022. The virtual Microsoft Teams meeting begins at 9:00 am and is expected to conclude by approximately 12:30 pm. The virtual meeting is open to the public. Members of the public who are interested in viewing and participating in the Teams meeting can access it at Click here to join the meeting. The agenda includes numerous Fish Passage Program updates: Environmental Restoration Weir Rules, ODOT Culvert Repair Agreement Reauthorization, Tide Gate Habitat Prioritization Effort, ODFW Fish Passage Program Budget and an update on a Winchester Dam Maintenance Project proposal. Details on the meeting can be found on the ODFW Fish Passage Program website . Public participation is encouraged, and you must pre-register to provide verbal testimony. Register before 9:00 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 23, 2022, a minimum of 48 hour prior to the virtual Teams meeting. Public comments will be heard at 9:30am during the meeting. Written comments will be accepted and are encouraged. When registering to speak provide your first and last name, which agenda item you wish to speak to by either emailing greg.d.apke@odfw.oregon.gov or call ODFW at 503-931-4361. With either method, provide the information identified above. You do not need to pre-register to provide written comment. The nine-member Task Force meets regularly to advise ODFW and the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission on fish passage policies and issues. Task Force members represent water users and owners-operators, fisheries and conservation interests, and the general public-at-large.
