Oregon’s Fish Passage Task Force will meet Thursday, June 9 in Klamath Falls at the Oregon State University Klamath Basin Research Extension, 6923 Washburn Way. Several fish screening sites in the Klamath basin will be visited by the Task Force Thursday afternoon and in the morning on Friday, June 10th. The meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is open to the public. The agenda includes updates on the Klamath Basin screening projects and the development of a Fish Screening Program handout. There will also be a briefing on the Fish Screening and Passage Program, the program’s funding, and presentations by ODFW staff, Trout Unlimited, and updates from task force members. The seven-member Fish Screening Task Force meets quarterly to advise ODFW on fish screening policies and issues. Task Force members represent agriculture, fishing and conservations, and the general public.
