SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its formal monthly meeting by telephone on Thursday, May 14, at 8:30 a.m. This will be a virtual meeting in response to Gov. Kate Brown’s directive on social distancing measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the risk of exposure to our communities. It will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/OregonDOT/live. Items on the agenda include: An update on the impacts and implications of COVID-19 on Oregon’s transportation system. An introduction to the priorities, goals and implementation of a joint OTC and ODOT Strategic Plan. A review of ODOT’s State Highway Fund revenues and expenditures and a discussion on the development of the 2021-2023 Agency Request Budget. Status updates from ODOT’s Climate Office and Urban Mobility Office.
