UPDATE- The Oregon State Police major crimes section is providing an update to the active officer involved shooting investigation in Polk County. The suspect vehicle was occupied by the following: Isaac Ivan Ocegueda (18) of Carlton- Declared deceased at the scene. Jose Manuel Coral Zavala (20) of Salem; Female Juvenile (17). The Polk County Deputy has been identified as Deputy Mike Smith; an 8 year veteran of the agency, who has been placed on administrative leave per SB111 protocols. During the investigation, limited information is available for release in order to preserve the investigation itself.
