OHA’s COVID-19 Cases by Vaccination Status dashboard will no longer be updated. It was last updated in February. Observation of these data in Oregon over the course of the pandemic shows there is no significance difference from the national trend. Therefore, we encourage you to look to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which maintains a similar set of data on a national level. Due to the large sample size—the population of the United States—these data paint a much more useful and accurate picture than Oregon’s data. As a result, we can actually learn more about Oregon’s COVID-19 disease and death rates by looking at national data than by looking at our own state’s data. In the coming weeks, OHA will streamline its COVID-19 data reporting further, and we will keep you informed of all the changes.
