ODFW release – CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Oregon Hatchery Research Center Board will meet on Tuesday, March 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the ODFW South Willamette Watershed District Office, 7118 N.E. Vandenberg Avenue, Corvallis. The agenda includes presentations on the Clackamas Hatchery Summer Steelhead Study, The Biology and Value of Diversity in Steelhead and Implications for Hatcheries and NOAA’s assessment on the risks and benefits of hatchery stocks. The meeting is open to the public and an opportunity for public comment is scheduled. The OHRC is a cooperative research project between the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Oregon State University, and the Board advises the OHRC Director on activities and functions related to the operation and maintenance of the OHRC.
