The Old McKenzie Highway (OR 242) reopened to motor vehicle traffic as of 8 a.m. Monday, June 17. This seasonal route has been closed between mile points 61 and 84 since late last year due to winter weather and highway maintenance operations. Snow removal began in March, followed by repair work to fix damage caused by the 2017 Milli Fire.
