Brando Tessar matched a career high with eight strikeouts to lead No. 25 Oregon (24-10) to a 3-0 win over Portland at Joe Etzel Field on Wednesday. Tessar (2-0) allowed just four hits, two of which didn’t leave the infield, in seven innings to pick up the win. Garrett Cleavinger struck out the side in the eighth and Jake Reed picked up his seventh save retiring three of the four hitters he faced in the ninth.
