The Oregon Board of Forestry will hold a planning retreat on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to discuss board priorities and work plan items for the upcoming years. No formal decisions will be made during the meeting, which is open to the public. The retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Pinot Room at the Chemeketa Eola Wine Studies Center, 215 Doaks Ferry Road NW, Salem. An executive session is planned at the conclusion of the retreat. The agenda includes discussion of the working relationships between the Board and agency leaders, agency strategic initiatives, the status of the Board’s work plans and proposed work plans. The Board will meet in executive session from 4 to 5 p.m. to conduct the State Forester’s Annual Performance Review, per Oregon Revised Statute 192.660(2)(i).
